Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

This page explains how to cancel PaperVox Pro and when you can get your money back.

Cancelling

You can cancel PaperVox Pro at any time. Sign in, open the account menu (your initial, top right), choose Manage subscription, and cancel there. You can cancel at the end of your current period or straight away.

If you cancel at the end of the period, Pro stays on until the day your paid period ends, then your account returns to the Free plan and you are not charged again. Your documents are kept, subject to the Free plan's limits.

Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund a charge you have already paid, except as described below.

Refunds within 5 days

If you ask within 5 days of a charge, we will refund that charge in full. This applies to the monthly and the yearly plan, and to renewals as well as first payments.

To ask:

When we refund a charge we also cancel the subscription, so you will not be charged again. Pro ends when the refund is made.

The refund goes back to the card or payment method you paid with, through our payment provider, Dodo Payments. How long it takes to show up depends on your bank or card issuer.

After the refund window

Charges older than 5 days are not refunded, and we do not refund part of a period you have paid for but not used. You can still cancel at any time to stop the next renewal.

This does not take away any rights you have under the law where you live.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, payment is retried for a short grace period and Pro stays on. If it still fails, your account returns to the Free plan until you update your card in Manage subscription. You are not charged for time you did not have Pro.

The Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.

Who handles the payment

Dodo Payments is our merchant of record: it sells Pro to you, takes the payment and issues refunds and invoices. Please contact us first if something is wrong with a charge; we can usually sort it out faster than a card dispute.
